About MizFrog

For those who are curious, I'll tell you a little about myself. I'm a southern lady, born in Arkansas, raised mostly in Jackson, Tennessee, with Memphis being my current home. I have also  lived in California and New York.

Family info—I have four children (three sons and one daughter), six grandchildren (two granddaughters and four grandsons, one deceased), two step-granddaughters, and seven great-grandchildren. I have two brothers and two half sisters (one deceased). My mother died at age 86 on March 29, 2005. My father was killed in a car accident when I was 15.

Job info—I retired from Federal Express after 19 years of employment as a secretary and administrative assistant. I was a Certified Professional Secretary and have an associate's degree in Office Systems Technology. I also was a real estate agent for about a year.

How I spend my spare time—In addition to collecting frog items and having fun with this Web site, I also design and print CD labels and jewel case inserts for Southern Music Studio. I like to play computer Scrabble and other word games. I go to Tai Chi classes twice a week.

Frog collecting—Lee and I didn't make a decision to become frog collectors—it just happened.  It isn't a large collection in comparison to some other people's, but it's a fun hobby and we enjoy it.
